Tutorial Video for David Merry’s optically perfect illusion, Acupuncture. The performer takes a rubber glove, the type that one would wear when working with chemicals or toxins and slips it on either hand. The spectator is asked to examine an everyday knitting needle (without the number ball on the end). The performer then proceeds to push the knitting needle right through the back of their hand. The performer may let the needle stay there as long as they wants, then removes it or better yet, allows the spectator to remove.
